Canada Has Over 10 Lakh Job Vacancies: Reports

New Delhi: There are more than 10 lakh jobs in Canada which has been increased since May 2021 by over 3 lakh.

As per CIC reports, Canada currently plans to invite the largest number of applications for local citizenship, with a target of over 430,000 in 2022. This target will increase to 4,50,000 in 2024.

According to another report last month, the number of vacancies in some states had reached record levels. In Alberto and Ontario, the number of unemployed people for a position in April was 1.1, compared to 1.2 in March and 2.4 a year earlier.

Notably, in Newfoundland and Labrador, four people are unemployed for every post.

The report further claimed that in April, the number of vacant posts in the construction sector reached a new high of 89,900, which is 5.4 percent higher than March and 45 percent more than last year's April.

Professional, scientific and technical services; Transportation and Warehousing; Finance and Insurance, Entertainment and Recreation; And the number of jobs in real estate has reached a record high.

The number of jobs in the educational services sector has increased to 9,700 in April as compared to the previous month, which is higher than the pre-covid level of February, 2020.

Since February, the number of jobs in the accommodation and food services sector has increased by more than 10 percent.
